Bioavailability of Multi Vitamins

I read a interested thread here a while back that I thought I had bookmarked about the bioavailability of multi vitamins. It basically said that most OTC multi's are very poor, than in the thread listed a few good brands

Ive looked around through google and search function but havent yielded very many results. Seeing as how Ive recently ran out of my generic GNC multi's I figured I should go ahead and order a quality product.

Might anyone have any opinions, or even perhaps have a link to the article

Im trying to figure the importance of this. Is it true, or is it a marketing gimmick?

Jeeze, the price of those top rated vitamins are crazy, around 2 bucks a day for a multi

opti-men is the best for the price imo

i like anavite too but the beta alanine isnt worth the extra money

next i like orange triad, great product.

Absolutely......OT IMO is the best multi....Joint support, digestive and immunity all in one.....Took Animal Pak for a long time.....just feel this has more....6 pills compared to what 22 for AP???...and a better value....I combine it with Controlled Labs Oximega Fish Oil.....great combo.
 
I don't think vitamin supplements are as effective as getting them from the source.
They turn your pee bright green, yet if you eat the same vitamins from whole food sources, your urine color isn't affected.
I realize you are getting way more in your vitamin supps, but that is part of the problem... I don't think you can utilize all of that in one sitting.

Of course certain vitamins absorb easily, such as Vitamin C; but I don't think you are getting all of the vitamins and minerals that those pill packets contain.
 
Another thing... most multi's make me feel nauseous or just overall crappy, whereas a vitamix shake full of spinach, kale, and other nutrient dense greens gives me instant energy and feelings of well being.
