Biohacking Just wondering if anyone else listens to any biohacking podcasts and just laughs at the costs of some of this stuff?

Anyone listen to any biohacking podcasts such as ben Greenfield or anyone else?

Im listening to his most recent about a company who does better genetic testing than 23andme and a slue of others BUT it costs like $400 and their personal supplements to help are still another $200 per month

I mean cmon, how can anyone afford this stuff?

I would say overall I am a fan of Ben Greenfield and was researching into bio hacking for some time before I even found out who he was.

He does a good job of marketing something that has substantial research behind it, but it’s up to you to do further research and find out if you can realistically incorporate any of the methods he discusses.

You have to look past his affiliated links and pick apart what he says, in the end he puts out cited articles in a noob friendly format (which is a great starting point research wise). He doesn’t need his readers/followers to do/try everything he writes or talks about, but no matter what they end up trying he gets some sort of kickback.

I think this field is just in its infancy and is definitely worth paying attention to. Over the next couple of years as more people and more money flows in, I think some legitimate advances will come about. Though right now it all does sound kind of "woo woo."
