If this is for your child, then why not have his or her primary doctor look into it for you. Give your doctor the website or the name and see if he or she recommends it for your child. And if they can get it for you.

However if it's for you, not gonna be worth getting.

I was thinking I could use this thingy. Preload it and go! No misses. No Pain. No Marks. No Needles to throw away or buy.

The Biojector® 2000 will go down deep to Intramuscular or subcutaneous settings. Not sure if they will sell it to just anyone. I'll have to email them and see. It could be $$$

As far as I know this has come up before on other boards. And I have never seen anyone jump on it. Not sure what the reason was. I can't remember. But it was a big NO, when it was brought up. Maybe someone here has a different view.

I read about these in scientific american of all places... I don't think the technology was perfected yet. Maybe it is now. Is it for oil or just water-based solutions? Can it go intramuscular and if so, how do you avoid a vein or artery? Is there a way to aspirate? Can you adjust the depth? Lots of questions...

Too expensive!! But it will do the job.
I am not sure how you avoid hitting veins but it literally shoots liquid through you at a variable depth setting using a CO2 powered device.

The current suggested retail list price for the Biojector professional jet injector is US$995, and the suggested retail list price for syringes is $US1.00 each. CO2 cartridges are sold for a suggested retail price of $US0.50 per cartridge and average 10 injections per cartridge

They say it is not pain-free but really really easy to do and cleanuo and loading is both easy as well. There are licensed smaller versions for insulin out there that are cheaper but still around 250-300 bucks.

I just don't think the price is there yet. But it will work.
