Bison prices? What do you guys spend on it?

How many of you eat Bison? I found some local guys who sell it at a fair price. What do you spend on it? Per pound. Amazing macros if you ask me!

Whole Foods (at least in the Chicago area) has it. Never tried it and don't remember the price.

I get the NY steaks and Rib Eye's at Whole Foods; they run around $16.99 to $19.99 per pound but they are awesome on the grill.

Ground bison is like $9/lb where I live. More expensive than filet mignon.

I have picked up the ground up version for about 6.00 a lb. Good quality protien and a bit leaner than normal ground beef.

I eat bison all the time...I buy it for 4.99 a pound at stop and shop for christ sake. I think price chopper sells the bison steaks for $7 for 2 decent sized steaks....and Im in Connecticut.

lol same here 4.99 per pound in the southwest. all natural, i usually mix it with lean ground sirloin and black beans. good stuff

Its not easy to get everywhere. I recently asked permission of the mods to post up where I buy them from. If they give me the OK you guys can have it cheap!!! Shipped to your door for just about nothing!

i eat bison daily

6.99/lbs for the ground.

I found some in my local supermarket. It was 2 steaks a total of 12 oz, ultra lean, for about $6.50 (which is roughly $8.67/lb).

They came in vacuum sealed bags, not frozen though. Probably one of the leanest and cheapest bison steaks I ever found. Now they don't carry it anymore.
