Tried Coinbase. Never sent a text verification code to begin buying and selling with regards to setting up an account. after multiple tries I contacted their tech support. Pretty sure IF someone opend the message they died at their desk of a heart attack because I never heard back. Went on to XAPO. They couldn't even send me the email verification right from the start to get going after three attempts. These bitcoin wallet and trading places are a joke. My advice, forget bitcoin. Useless websites. I had enough jumping through hoops for nothing. If places can't even get a functioning website and tech support down, I wouldn't trust them with my money if they fixed their bugs anyway. Bitcoin is a JOKE.

bitcoin always flutuates up and down. the expense to use it is quite huge.

I like bitcoin for it's anonymity, but in terms of convenience and cost it's actually not my first choice. First, you do have some transaction costs from 1) buying the stuff on exchanges, and 2) the miner's fee. The miner's fee can actually be quite substantial if your payment includes the leftovers of other coin transactions. Not to mention the risk of price fluctuations (granted also upside).

Maybe future cryptocurrency versions who don't suffer from these drawbacks as much will gain support in the steroids market, for now we don't have much of a choice but to use BTC.

I was verified on coinbase within a hour and all I provided was photo of drivers license, I can understand if someone is not OK with that but for me that was fine
