This sounds similar to a friends situation. He has a Dr. prescribed TRT and will do a cycle every few months. He runs around 1g of test, 600mg deca, 600mg EQ etc. He will even stop using deca and jump on Tren A and do around a 12 week cycle. Problem is after all that he hardly has anything to show for. He's lucky if he gains 15lbs solid muscle and keeps it on. He does get hard but as for muscle mass very little. He says his blood work is fine, so who knows what's really going on.
As for me I run 20 week cycles and will gain muscle and definition all the way through the entire cycle. I tend to pick up more mass and definition around 11-20 week period. When I cruise I'll do 100mg test and 100mg tren e. I will continue to hold my size and add definition if my diet is in order. That's only If I'm dieting clean and not just eating to add size. If I'm dieting to add size I will lose some but very little definition (which I'm doing now) but will add size.
Please understand I will only blast cruise in a competition year. If i'm not planning on competing I will do 10-15 week cycles and take time off for PCT.
