Under 1.3 tesla (where as MRI's are like 1.5-3ish on averag) for 1 minute blood viscosity changes 20-30% and takes hours to return to normal (in the lab, not in the body)... however the blood has to be going the same direction, so if you just applied it to one area of the body (assuming it acts the same in the body as in the lab). This doesn't change the function of the cells, but is basically like taking aspirin to prevent heart attacks etc without all the side effects of aspirin. So at risk individuals in hopsitals (and eventually in your home I'd imagine) could benefit from it... perhaps application for sports and bodybuilding too.
