blood at inj. site

this was kind of weird and i've never experienced anything like this before so i thought i would ask my fellow peers. i was about to pin my glutes, as soon as the needle penetrated my skin a squirt of blood came shooting out the side of the needle. i didnt see any blood inside of syringe but ditched it anyway and started a fresh one. i went on to another site but i was talking to a buddy of mine and he said this was an oil pocket from the gear i had been using. has anyone ever experienced this or know anything about this?

no i did not asperate because i did not get that far if you read my post, no it did not keep bleeding it just shot a stream of blood across the room. it was a little weird. im just kind of curious if this has ever happened to anyone else.

maybe you just pushed through a vein close to the surface. I did this once while stayimg at my girlfriends parents house and it hit the tub and mixed with a little water and looked like a mass murder had been committed. Needless to say a quick clean up was in order.

LOL gross. Never had that happen. I hope it doesn't ever ick. I've been lucky I just aspirate and I'm fine. I'm prone to bleeding with injections for some reason I've got a lot of veins close to the surface of my skin even when I'm bulked and not lean.

you just hit a vain. no big deal. it bleeds. might hurt the next day a little but other than that, it happens.

Although I must say, my hat is off to you bro. I've never had that happen to me while pinning my GLUTES. quads, yes. glutes, no. So good shot bro!

lol, yea i mean sometimes i have a little bleeding afterwards but nothing like this. i was also thinking that i hit a vein but my buddy was telling me it was an oil pocket caused by the gear i was running but then i started thinking, this guy has never even tried injectables so WTF. but anyway, thanks guys for the input.

First time

I just had a little spray from my glutes, I figured I'd look around before posting a new thread. I did aspirate and everything was fine but when I pulled it out it sprayed a bit of blood, it came out with force! I was a little nervous so I went straight to the forum and I feel a little better now. It stopped immediately but I just wanted to make sure. If anyone has input other than what was posted I'd appreciate it.

So I hit something carrying blood away from the heart instead of to it, (basically right?) is there anything to this? I have a small bruise at the site but no soreness, not worried about it but I'd like to prevent this in the future.
