Blood Everywhere!!

Woke up this morning and the whites of my eyes are completely red!!! It's the most blood I've seen in anyone"s eyes and it was freaking me out so I went to the Dr. and she said it was just a couple of popped blood vessels and that it would clear itself up. She did prescribe me drops but they cost over $200.00 and there's no way I'm paying that!! Anyone else ever have this happen to them 2 weeks out or closer to contest time?

I've popped blood vessels in my eye before many years ago. It healed up fine. No worries. People will think you're a pothead or crackhead though.

Mine took about 6 weeks to clear up. Got some interesting looks around town though

My wife got this after aspirating some water and coughing hard for a few minutes. It looked bad, pretty sure everyone at the gym thought I beat her, little do they know it would be far more likely for her to beat me...

I had that when I was a kid in high school. I had my wisdom teeth pulled and the next day I blew my nose real hard and blew a bunch of vessels in my eye. Nothing to worry about I think.

Yeah, blood pressure is fine and no outward signs of any other issues. i'm assuming it's related to a bit of dehydration combined with high levels of training stress. Either way it's not really worrying me. now that i know what it is it makes sense and as long as my vision isn't affected i could give 2 shits. But it is so f'ng annoying how many people(some who don't even know me) feel they can just ask me what happened.
