about 15 years ago I had blood in my urine and semen, went to specialist, had a camera put down the eye of my cock (a moment I will never forget, still makes me squirm to this day just thinking about it), was told it was an infection and some antibiotics cleared it up. Hasnt happened again since.

Been there done that. Worst 2 minutes of my life.. Except for the biopsy. Worst 10-12 mins of my life. And I had 3 woman, one MD and two interns.. Good thing I had a sense of humor, made them all laugh..

When being released from the hospital after back surgery. Worst part was extraction of the old hose in the pee hole. Wasn't awake when they inserted it. Can't imagine....

Yeah, same here. I had an old female nurse, probably mid 70s, yank my catheter out. Worst pain I've ever felt. I thought being old and experienced she would be nice and gentle. Nope. She grabbed ahold of it and yanked on it like it was the starter cord on a lawn mower!!

I woke up literally as the nurse was pulling the cath out of my dick. I don't remember it being super painful but trying to pee after sure as hell wasn't fun.

Third surgery and third time with cath inserted and like Maldorf said. They yank them out like a pull cord. I pissed blood for three days and yea, no picnic.

I dont know why they do that. I guess the theory is similar to how some yank off a bandaid! Get it over fast. Gotta tell them, as a patient, that method is horrible.

I was awake both when doctor inserted it and pulled it out. They put some novocaine on your balls but that didnt do anything..lol

My Dad noticed blood in urine once(?). He came back from a run (he was a runner)
and urinated and noticed blood in his urine. Scared the shit out of him. Saw a doctor
immediately. The doctor did some tests but ultimately the conclusion was that he
was running on a full bladder that the 'pounding' of a full bladder irritated his prostate
glad thus giving him blood in his urine. That is my recollection. At any rate, seeing
blood in your urine = see a doctor ASAP.
