i am guessing this is NOT healthy. i have been off my clean eating for 2 weeks and have not been in the gym either. under alot of stress as well. running slightly high dose test.

how dangerous is this?
is this completely wreckless?
best way to remedy this?

sorry if stupid questions, but i think this is not good. :(

Control the diet bro, try to avoid eating out, stick to basic, wholesome foods, trust me it helps a lot, when I go off path and eat bad, off or on gear, bp becomes an issue, if I'm on gear and eat well, bp is always within a healthy range.

thats what i thought

thanks powerrack.

yeah, i need to get back on the horse. prolly gonna take an aspirin til i get diet back in check.
a family member noticed veins in my forehead so i went and checked blood pressure and got embarrassed:( i knew it was a little high but damn, not that high!!!

what is your cycle? do you know what your BP is when your off? what did the doc say about this? i think 110 is a little dangerous i would get it checked again. mine is 149 over 87 and that is still bad, id be concerned about the 110.

Last week I was 160/102 when I went to my doctor. He put me on meds. I ususally have the, "HELLBOY" look going on myself.
Needless to say, at 110 your asking for it. I really don't like taking shit like this, but it needs correction. At least til you get a handle on things that are elevating it.

IMO.

Good luck.

Not a stupid qustion Bro.

I would not leave it untreated. Come of your cycle or at least drop down to TRT dose. Pick youself up a blood pressure moinotor they are quite cheap. Do not workout till you are back in normal range. Training with blood presure that high resting could result in heart attack or stroke. It sounds like you are under pressure. Your readings are like what they would be after a heavy intense weights workout. Take a few weeks of training and you should be fine. Do a search for antistress adaptogens, they will help. But most important rest. You will get most accurate reading first thing in the morning. Food can also affect reading and dont talk and stay still when taking reading. Movement can also effect reading. Take 4 readings over 15mins to make sure accurate, also always take pressure on same arm. Get advice from your doctor after all we are only brothers. Always good to have professional opion in a case like this. Best of luck, two things to remember.

1 : Dont worry about the small stuff in life.
2 : Everything is small stuff.:)

Is it bad, yes it is.
Mine has been as high as 190 over 130. I've been on meds for a couple of months now and its almost normal. High blood pressure is no joke, I would get it checked out bro.

Your history

Has your BP been under control in the past? Do you have a family history of hypertension? What other DVDs are you viewing? Any reason to believe this has been elevated for a long time? Your age?

what are you taking and how much?
if your taking T3 or T4 back it down for sure and that would help a lot. stay away from sodium and that should drop ur pressure by a good 10-15pt on both sides after 2 or 3 days. also back your caffeine intake down. if you do all these i bet in 2-3days you will be back in the norm. high blood pressure and aas is a bad combo cause your putting more stress on your heart. your heart is a muscle that thinks that since its working harder that it will help if it grows and it will grow faster cause of the aas. this doesnt work at all. your heart walls will thicken up and cause even more stress. Ive been there and done that. was around 170/110 and my doc gave me an ace inhibitor and a beta blocker to take the stress off my heart and hopefully get it to shrink. from the eco's my heart is bout back to normal size so. my lesson was learned. good luck and i work on that stress. good luck

Managing blood volume is key right now until you get treated although I wouldn't recommend going untreated. Here are a few options, some have been mentioned some not...

Cut Sodium
Drink less water if you have been taking in excess (I mean anything over a gallon)
Lowering dose of AAS
Arginine for vasodilation
Low intensity cardio
Aspirin (Baby aspirin and maybe a regular aspirin for the first few days)
Fish oils
Do not drink caffeine excessively and lower or lay off stimulants.
Get outside and do some fun activities. You would be surprised at how effective this is... Staying inside has a huge effect on people health wise, and not many realize this. I would even recommend doing your cardio outside.
Change your diet to healthy fats, low glycemic load carbs, and lean protein.

Definitely go get it checked out. Using hawthorn berry I got my BP from 160/110 to 145/100. Better, but far from what I want.

I'm going to my doctor in two weeks to get blood work done along with a BP med. Going to do some research to see if any of these BP meds can be used with AAS without severe interactions. My BP is more important than running AAS, but if I can do both that'd wonderful. Any input on this?

High BP runs in the family, so I was bound to get it. Just hit me later than everyone else.

something to consider

anytime i ever had my pressure checked with a normal size cuff it reads high. if you have a relatively larger muscular arm it is important that a larger cuff be used for accuracy. maybe you're not as high as you think.

man that was damn near what my bp was at...i went to see my doctor for something unrelated and she noticed that my bp has been high for some time. The biggest thing I noticed was I was getting alot of headaches. I am not fat but at 5'6" and 215lbs she told me to drop my weight down so I took my shirt off and she said dont even bother dropping weight. She put me on bp meds and in 1 month its back to normal levels. Mind you I dont eat fast food/foods high in sodium as I dont use salt on anything. My problem after talking to my family was that it runs in my family. But it didnt help at the time I was running a cycle plus using peptides. I am hoping to get off the meds as it has screwed with my "johnson" at times and I cant have that.

i agree.

you're probably holding a lot of water in your blood from high estrogen levels.

I think most would be shocked at how high their bp is. Yours is bad but not that bad to what I bet many are here. I think most just dont check it out of fear. I once heard a doc say avg bloodpressure is 120/80 and an average bodybuilders is 170/100.

ok guys

i will take this seriously then.
supposed to get my blood work done this week. been putting it off.
back on the diet tommorrow and started taking aspirin today.
this is no joke. i am one of those "afraid to check" kinda people but thats insanity. i realize that now. i need to take care of this.

i am only using test.

First off, what Tom said about BP cuff size can very well happen, I've seen it, but with a seasoned health care professional, probably not gonna happen. Bro, there's alot of things worse than death, like laying in a hospital bed the rest of your life stroked out. Start your aspirin 81mg QD, don't lift weights, just for now, but keep with the aerobic work. Cut your sodium and fats now. If you know your gear, tho only test, raises your BP, dc it now. I've lived one f'd up life, not paying attention to many indicators my body throws at me, and me being a med professional. The one thing I do listen to is my BP. You don't want to blow an artery. If you're a young guy just remember, you've got your whole life to get big. Take care of yourself

BTW you know you should be 120/80. It's HIGH brother.

that is very high.. i would clean up the diet and if that doesnt help either drop the gear or get on meds.. that can do some serious damage to your kidneys etc
