So when I'm up moving around my BP gets as high as 180/100 but sitting and relaxing it's 130/80
This has been going on for a couple years now?
I saw my doctor awhile back he put me on Losartan and amlodipine but I still have this issue, is this normal?
I'm 60 235lbs 200deca 200 test cyp per week 4iu GH per day and the usuall supplements we use, vit C, fish oil, garlic, CoQ10 ect...
Any you guys experience anything like this?

Well if you’re exerted it’s going to run higher so not sure what up and moving around quite entails, also make sure you’re using a cuff that fits. If you’re bigger a normal cuff will give an off reading. If I take a b/p with a normal cuff mine will read 160/90 then 120/70 in a matter of minutes.

After you do exercise, your BP should actually go down once you are done. It would be higher if taken while you are lifting something and exerting yourself.

Getting much cardio? Any swelling in your feet/ankles & shins?
Shortness of breath? Get winded easy walking up a few flight of stairs?
Us older guys gotta know when to take our foot off the gas.
Might be worth seeing a cardiologist. Could be the meds, diet, sodium intake.
Pre diabetic? Any history of congestive heart failure in the family?

You can keep a BP journal. Take your BP 3-4x/day and look for trends.
Show how activity effects your BP to your PCP. May need to change up
your meds, find the one(s) that work with your specific body chemisty.
180's is not good for your kidneys long term.

I don't do any cardio, yes short on breath especially first thing in the morning just walking into work I get winded.
Had an echocardiogram done all good ejection fraction right where it was supposed to be.
CT calcium score was zero.
No swelling in feet or ankels.

Something's not right. Sounds like you may have pulmonary edema. I'd ask if your PCP can set you up with Cardiologist or Pulmonologist.
Have you been diagnosed with asthma or COPD?

How tall are you?

can you be a bit more explicit what your walking to work includes?
if my office is in the third floor and i have to go up quite some stairs then i also get winded and i get most people to get a bit out of breath doing that.
Or are you talking flat walking?

What is your weight and height?

I'm 5'10 currently 235lbs
It's a long walk into work on a flat surface early in the morning very few people around so I remove my mask to get air. And yes terrible asthma when I was a kid but it doesn't bother me to much anymore. I'm considering cardio twice a week but I just hate that shit!
Ya I'm big and strong and vascular but my conditioning sucks always have.
One thing to note during all my tests which were done 8 months ago they found some scar tissue in both lungs so they did a CT scan with a dye that was injected while I was being scanned. But the doc said it was nothing?
I just don't get why my BP takes such a jump if I get up and do something as simple as vacuuming the carpet?

It definitely should not go that high from something as simple as that. You need to be seen by a specialist and get that under control, that's dangerous. Something you are doing other than "moving around" is causing that. A normal echo does not mean everything with your heart is gtg. It's a good tool, but it doesn't tell the whole story.

You might see about having a stress test done, where they give you an ekg and test your VO2 max while on a treadmill.

You could also try a Holter monitor.

5'6 210 pounds. And my BP goes from 105/66 to a typical high during the day of 125/78. Usually under 120 between sets. And 10 points lower off cycle. Anything over 120/80 is considered unhealthy and seems to take it's toll over a long period of time. i have done some level of cardio forever. Eat fairly healthy. Take care of the things you can. Then get tests if that doesn't work.

I'd give a trial adjuvant use of a CCB

All of the bolded have a propensity to increase Ca2+ (calcium ion influx, [movement into the cell] with decreased efflux [movement out of the cell]) which can increase vasoconstriction- hypertension. Unfortunately, and ARB isn't well suited in this situation.

It may be worthwhile to discuss with your treating clinician about the adjuvant use of a CCB (calcium channel blocker).

C'mon Cap, time to suck it up and get on some piece of cardio equipment. The heart and lungs sound like they need more exercise!

180/100 if you're moving around isn't unusual. Any time you take your BP you should sit for a bit, relax and then take it (multiple times a day). There was a study years ago where they tracked the BP of bodybuilders while they squatted. It was 4XX/3XX.

So, for someone running test alone or with deca, a calcium channel blocker would be a better option than an ARB? Do you have a preferred CCB?

No had an ekg all good.
Unfortunately I'm starting to think I'm just plain ole outta shape I'm just gonna have to suck it up and do some frigging cardio gggrrrrr...
I really appreciate all the input guys!

Did you have a stress ekg? On the treadmill with a VO2 max?
