Blood pressure while training legs

Anytime you bare down and push through your abdomen like strain to poop (valsalva) will cause a drop in blood pressure as well.
This is part of the reason that ALOT of have some sort of cardiac event on the toilet.
(It can also be used to give false reading on a polygraph)

Having a blood pressure drop can trigger a headache from several reasons including hypoxia ranging from ringing ear to passing out.

Depending when the "pressure change" is happening would more explain what the exact cause is. If it happens when in a set then it could very well be a high pressure spike , if it comes on after the set it could be low pressure

A decent blood pressure monitor is a worthy investment in my opinion , right behind a blood glucose meter

The way my cardiologist explained is that the baring down like when constipated has the same effect in causing a vagel response which can trigger a heart attack , he also said that it's generally from people with poor heart health ,the average healthy person should not have an issue..
Apparently Drug addicts that are addicted to pain killers are prone to it as well from the obvious issues they cause with the heart but also the pain killers relaxing the paristalsis in the bowels making them constipated.

I know even small things like doing a kagel like you are trying to stop the flow of pee can have a noticeable effect of lowering blood pressure and heart rate enough to throw off a baseline on a polygraph.

In situation when people pass out after a big deadlift or squat it's mostly from the blood pressure rising during the exercise then drop when they take a deep breath
Same when you stand up and get dizzy , it's the sudden drop in blood pressure

Yea after my son was born we ate bad, didn’t sleep, and my training was way off for a few months and my BP got bad and when I woukd take a shit I could feel it go up. That was when I got my shit together lol and got back on prep and my BP was normal after a few weeks. I will say my entire lifting career when I do deads whether it’s 405 and up or drop sets if I have two good spotters I always go straight to my knee(s) after jic I pass out that way I don’t eat the bar or the floor, never actually have but I’ve greyed out a few times not unlike when you do your first few jumps or get in an intense combat situation and your adrenaline dumps then when shit chills you get grey and fuzzy and nauseas which I assume are still all BP related

Might explain why 2 guys died on the shitter were i used to work. Think it was on a Monday which are high heart attack days if i remember right.

Besides the 2 guys dyeing on the shitter 2 others crashed into the security fence and died on their way to work on a Monday.
 
Already taking 5mg cialis someday, don't find it makes a difference honestly.

Not going to lie, breathing is probably not the best- hard to breathe when pushing that kind of load (heavy for me anyways). So you're probably right on that one.

Yea and it may sound dumb but before heavy compounds I like to do heavy deep breathing to hyper oxygenate my blood as well which I believe anyway let’s me get an extra rep here and there as well as hr/BP down a bit during and after set, post set dims when my brother truly spikes

I alaways did that before heavy 20+ rep sets for legs. Seemed reasonable.

Yea I picked it up for underwater training echelons in the USMC but it made sense too me and yes you right you feel it and get more reps, better pump too
