Thought it would be interesting to see everyones experience, if any, with BP meds. Have you found some to be well tolerated while others left you feeling like poo? Any and all info you have from personal experience is relevant. Thanks!

Ive just about everything, and the only med that has given me any sides that I can nottice is beta blockers. Im on 80 mg/day coreg now and sides to me are some bodyfat gain, lowering of exercise capacity/endurance, and some tiredness throughout that day. I wouldnt recommend beta blockers if all you have is high BP. I think the ARBs or ACE inhibitors are great for that. I used to take just Benicar before my heart attack and that kept my BP under control even while on steroids.
I'm on Atenolol at 25mg a day. Its a beta blocker. Seems to work for me and one of the side effects is, it takes the edge off some of my anxiety. I like that part although my resting pulse and pressure numbers seem to be whacky at times.
