I had some blood work at the back of severe stomach bloating. I am going to see a allergy specialist soon. My GP thought to pull a panel on me as i went in to ask for a referral and it came up like this.

She was concerned and asked if i drink a lot which I dont.

I am not on orals. was on test and some tren but tren has never affected my ALT like that. This is odd.

What could be causing it ?

Blood work experts please check it all & advice. Thanks

Rest seems ok.http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/59f2249113188/Blood work 1 26.10.17.pdfhttp://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/59f224c2e3a4c/Blood work 2 26.10.17.pdf

Inflammation in and of itself can sometimes elevate liver enzymes to a degree. Bouts of heavy training, where muscle tissue is constantly being broken down, will definitely elevate AST and ALT (though typically not to this degree). Mine are almost always above range.

Other causes could be digestive issues, where food is just sitting in the gut. Also, I would recommend having a liver ultrasound just to be on the safe side. Good luck!

You're absolutely right. It can elevate them, but not that drastically.

To be safe, ask for an ultrasound to check your liver and surrounding organs. Also maybe have a second test to confirm.

You said you are not on orals and dont drink alcohol, are you on any other meds/herbs that can stress the liver?

What did they say about your bloating? I’ve actually been struggling with that as well for some time.

Yes it can.

Muscular exercise can cause highly pathological liver function tests in healthy men

Schedule a retest and take a few days off training prior to getting the blood pulled, I've seen 4x elevations that were back in normal ranges simply by taking a few days off with a retest a week later.
Wow, that's insane! I think if he established a baseline and another test with results of post training enzymes, then compared them with this, he would have a better idea if it was normal for him or not.

Myself, I know I get about a 1.5x elevation following exercise.

How about adding in a GGT test, doesn't that help to pinpoint if it is liver or not?

Tren elevates my numbers quite a bit nowadays, so don't discount the tren. I did recently have blood work done after a brutal back workout and my liver numbers were crazy high a month later no training before blood work normal levels. So either could be your cause but with the stomach bloating I'd bet on tren.

Well I do drink alcohol but thats like 2-3 may be 4 beers/pints in a week. I am not a heavy drinker to the extent to fuck with the liver.

I never get stomach bloating when I run Tren. I had only started the run for like 2-4 shots a week or so

Thing is when I do my own blood work privately I always take a week off from training as i train very hard so it i know it will screw with values. This test was not planned. I only went in to GP to get a referral to see a allergy specialist privately on my insurance (standard UK practice) and she decided on her own will to do some blood work so I just went with it, didn't think of doing how I do myself.

Cos usually I plan a rest week and then do bloods before going back to training.

It's probably a combination of training and something else. I wouldn't be overly worried. The stomach thing could be an allergy to certain foods. Haven't you had the stomach thing when your liver values have been fine? I would recommend synthergine for your liver. Just adding that in and drinking lot's of water each day should be enough to have you in range. As you know heavy training can skew results but my levels are usually fine even with recent heavy training. I was going to recommend the GGT so it's good your doctor is proactive. I think you just need to sort out the stomach issue and the liver will be fine. They could be connected but I don't think so from what you have told me in the past. You should get things sorted out over the next few weeks. Get that allergy test if you can.

Guys there are two blood work report links. somehow they got smashed into one another and it looks like one link. Hope its opening ok.

I am attaching the ALT levels snip here. This is the only thing out of range and well and truly out of range!

Have the docs checked your gall bladder? That could be the pain and bloating.

I wouldn't stress the liver enzymes. . . yet. I have done blood work right after training and my enzymes were in the 240's. I have to take a week off from the gym to let them drop within range for blood work.

completely true.
I had 3xx ALT some years ago after a heavy dl session (yeah, i didnt take offs prior to blood when i was younger)
GGT was 12.
3 days training break and alt was 7x
