so 12 months of using red yeast rice, niacin, policanosol, green tea my bad cholesterol improved 7 points under the same circumstances. definetly worth implementing. mine went went from low 20's to 30, very happy with the results.
 
You mean good cholesterol, right?

That's great to hear. How much niacin do you take? Also, where do you get the red yeast rice?

that's good news Edge. Mack, I take 1000 mg of niacin a day too and my cholesterol profiles are always good. I remember hearing a doctor saying in an interview that niacin is very effective and cheap but the big drug companies would rather sell you expensive Lipator. Of course we need to take care of the other contributing factors as well

I don't think it matters. Some people just prefer the flush-free if they get that redness and tingle sensation on their skin from it
