What's the best way to semi-permanent body hair removal ???

I have done "Nair for men" the last two summers, but it is a messy hassle.

Any suggestions?

Can be kind of pricey but laser is the most effective way. Research before you make a decision on the place. Just a suggestion because I know someone who has used this place and it worked out pretty good: American Laser Center.

Laser all the way. It works incredibly. Both me and my wife got great results from it.

How permanent/long lasting were the results?

I've heard that usually multiple treatments are required because the body tries to repair the dammaged follicles...

It worked for me when I was off, but I soon as i got back on, it all came back. So for me it was a complete waste of money.

Oh yeah its multiple treatments, after 5 treatments 6 months ago, I have had a few sprigs on my back, shoulders, and neck(I also had my ears done), but nothing else. I did 3 treatments on my chest and stomach just to thin it up. There are good deals and lower prices now. The place I went was 99.00 a month for 30 mins of treatment. They were able to do everything in that time. Not bad considering how much it used to cost. The guy that owns this place lowered his pricing 65% since the economy was down and it worked big time. My wife did 8 months of treatments, but she had here whole legs done, bikini front and back, as well as , under arms. She is now good to go with no shaving anywhere. She will save us a lot of money when you consider years of buying razors and such.

FYI. I stay on low dose gear.

How many months of treaments did you do? After 5 months, mine never came back even with gear.

Thanks for the feedback. Also, with all due respect, I am a white guy. A black BB i know said something about the incresed amount of melonin ( excuse my spelling) made it less effective for the Laser to do it's job.

Anyone hear that?

i did the 12 laser treatments and they didnt do shit for me. im back at where i started. i just shave now.,its cheaper.the place i went for laser treatments was 3000 for 10 visits. then after the package it was $60 every 15min. i had back chest and shoulders done. wasnt happy with the results to say the lease. and it wasnt painless.

Laser is a waste of money. Use Nair if not allergic. I only have to do about every 2 weeks, because I been doing it a long time, and it comes back in less.

laser states right on the brochure that if you are undergoing hormone treatment, that the hair will come back by stimulating other hair folicals and could possible bring back the ones that were suppose to be killed off by the laser.

waste of money

WAX it

Damn, I wish I had read that part in the brochure before I dropped all that cash.
