Ha ha ......I wore a real mo hawk for awhile when I was 16, and thought I was being different for about about 3 months ,then I realized I was just being an attention seeking retard and shaved myself bald til I grew my hair out into something more in style ......but I just can't see grown men can be sporting this haircut and take themselves seriously.......especially the guys close to or over 30 ........but then again, it is these same guys [minus Dusty for sure ] that think those retarded tap out or affliction shirts are cool as well.......And fyi guys , the people I know in the fashion biz tell me the "fo hawk " was out in 2006.[so actually wearing a "fo hawk " is the equivalent of wearing a mullet pretty much now days ] About the same time that piercing's started to lose steam and tready tats weren't the cool thing to have anymore . Remember guys, bbers are already discriminated against .........so if you are sporting an out of style " hawk " past the trend ......as well as trendy clothes or tats " reg joe blow's " sport in order to gain attention as " bad boys " you are putting yourself in the fire of even more hate than the usual " roider hate " the bbers always get anyway........It's funny at the club I run .I see thousands of people each week and I hear all the girls and customers talk every night......It's funny, if a guy is a skinney douche with tats ,dressed gangster , then he's ok ........but make it a guy that has some muscle and the comments get pretty rough , even from the dancers that work for me ............this isn't the 80s or mid 90s anymore ......being a bber isn't cool ......you guys would be best off toning it down......go with a conservative long lasting styles with good taste .......dress well ......carry yourself well.......but following the trends and looking for attention is a sure fire way to gain more negative attention based on what my yrs in the night club business allow me to see[as well as knowing some fashion consultants].........Better to be a " Clark kent " than a " Travis Barker " wanna be as a bber .......I promise you'll rep yourself and the sport better .......think about it .......you want bbing building more mainstream and to get more positive attention .Then you have to be aware of how others see you and actually care about it.........my two cents
