Bodybuilding Pet Peeves

People who brag about how hard they train. “I train legs so hard I had to wait an hour to be able to walk to my truck then all I could do was lay on the couch the rest of the day”. Nobody cares 🤷🏻‍♂️
Sounds like they're actually bragging about how much their recovery sucks and how out of shape they are.
 
This isn't a bodybuilding per se but nutrition. I have been constipated a week and laxatives, all the high fiber foods they tell you to eat..aka Google "foods help constipation ', and an er visit and the Dr telling me "greens, fiber, veggies " didn't do fuck all.

As a last resort I went to the buffet and made sure I got all the grease in the pan and scooped on my food. We'll 30 minutes later..after not shutting in a week...it's falling out and I couldn't be happier.

Is Google not allowed to tell you to eat greasy as food? Doctors also don't know it makes you shit?
 
I had a guy sitting on a bench I like to use, he was resting on it on his phone between sets of standing dumbell raises. (it's the only hammer strength adjustable one we have, the others are shitty ones), so I asked can I use it. His reply... 'I'm sitting on it'

Holy shit. At that point its probably fine to explain to him that he's being a piece of shit.

Theyre giving advice to gen pop. Gen pop does not need more greasy food. They need fiber.

How low in fat is your normal diet?

High fiber intake, low fat intake, and constipation sounds like a prep problem to me. Maybe you're just not eating enough fats on a regular basis.

I think it was a combination of a gre things looking back

1. Tren 10mg Ed added in. Hadn't used in years...apparently other guys 40+ it can cause gut issues

2. I was doing carnivore...but a bastardized version. Higher protein lower in fat than pure carnivore...no fiber. Apparently carnivore I'd good for digestion...but that's because you get so much saturated fat shit runs smoothly. I wasn't eating as much fat so more of a carnivore/psmf hybrid.
 
I guess another one we can add to the list:

people that treat the gym like their own personal trash can and leave empty water bottles and energy drinks all over the place instead of just throwing them out

I never understood why people drink energy drinks at the gym. I drink mine driving to the gym while it's cold. Warm energy drinks taste like shit imo. And who wants to carry an open can around the gym to each station they use? Lol

Yeah there’s people at my gym that leave them everywhere, I just don’t get it. There’s like 3-4 trash cans in the gym too it’s not like they’re not there.

I like to drink 1/2 mine on the way to the gym, then the other half when I’m doing my 10 minute walk pre lift (just to get the mental state right before training) but of course I throw it out after I don’t just leave it on the floor

The worst is when I’m next to the empty cans and the janitor is looking at me like “really bro?”.

I like the carbonated Celsius ones personally but like you I probably need to scale back a bit. I know they’re bad for me but I do it anyway. Thinking about doing a caffeine detox soon and maybe supplement modafinil for a week so that I’m not lethargic as hell in the gym.

The ghost ones are addicting too though no doubt

Not the gym, but it pisses me off when the entitled fucks in my area (affluent/hoa) allow their dog to take a fat shit in my yard. Whether they clean it up or not, it’s a trespass to land that gets under my skin (and would never fly in the hood)
I had that problem a few years back … keyword is had. I went out and got my family a Doberman. He loves soaking in the sun on the front porch, haven’t had any dogs or ppl wondering since my Dobbie turned 6 months. lol

Very smart dog, trained on “where” to use the bathroom so we don’t have that problem either. Awesome edition to the family.

Im working out at Chuze fitness currently. There was a girl reading a book in the squat rack today. It was not between sets, and she had not just finished a set of squats. She really, really was just casually sitting down inside the squat rack and reading a fucking book like it was the library. I guess thats par for the course at a gym where chalk and grunting is not allowed.

I’ve done it if I’m coming straight from somewhere else and to the gym and picked one up on the way. Probably likely for the scenario for people coming to train right after work.

yeah if you are not eating enough fat you will have a problem. On a carnivore diet...

too much fat = diarrhea
Little fat = constipation

It's why a lot of people on PMSF diets get constipated if they don't add Metamucil or something.
