I never knew how expensive gym equipment really was until I started looking into things during this pandemic. Even your standard db's are expensive as fuck

i don't think so. it's commercial grade. that price seems a little high to me but out of this world high. also, there aren't a ton of commercial grade sissy squat units out there to choose from and certainly not on Amazon. it's just not a very in demand piece. It's sad in a way. You go into most gyms, especially chains, you're lucky if find a standing calf raise, a hack squat, a sissy squat, etc. You'll never ever see a donkey calf raise and if you do, you'll know you're in a great gym. In most modern gyms, definitely leg equipment has taken the biggest hit.
