any good books to expand the nutrition knowledge? health and science?

Be sure to check out AnaSci...

**broken link removed**

My favorite guys of late to read about nutrition are:

Mike Israetel
Alan Aragon
Eric Helms
James Krieger
Scott Stevenson
Lyle McDonald
...and a few others

For textbooks, I can list those off too if that is what you were wanting?

Justin Harris and Shelby Starnes both have great ebooks on nutrition

All the info you can find here...

yes I was looking more towards textbooks. for instance, mountaindog diet. his philosophies about grass fed beef and butter, raw mik, saturated fats myth, sugars and inflammation etc...

Are you a member of johns website? Tons of good info on there. I belive John also has a mountaindogdiet ebook with some of the stuff youre looking for

have said this before . . .

Try a medical school library or book store
or a good college bookstore.

Zero commercial interest.

Neil Hill released a new E-book a few months ago that's pretty bad ass.

Good Calories, Bad Calories
Real Food: What to Eat and Why
you can also search on line :p

It depends what you are looking for. I think a good start would be probably reading some nutrition books from college courses to get an basic understanding. Then moving on to the ebooks geared towards bodybuilding.

Try googling nutrition courses syllabus.

These two aren't bad either.

Super Immunity by Joel Fuhrman
NutritionTherapy and Pathophysiology 2nd ed - M. Nelms, et al

Tremendous list! I would also advise Brad Schoenfeld's new book (although its training related)

X2. , I've had some excellent nutrition text books geared towards medical professionals.

2 books by The Technician...

1) Chris Aceto - Championship Bodybuilding

2) Chris Aceto- Everything you need to know about fat loss.

most suited to your goals in simple language. I would start here.

Nobody knows more about nutrition then Aceto in this game. He is been copied over man many times by new and fancy coaches who try to glamorise shit.

35 plus years of mass producing top 10 Olympia physique .

Did the diet for sameer Bannout for his Mr 0 win in the 80s, fast forward today Mr O 2016 Chris is bringing in Rhoden, Big Army the top guys.

Made Jay from his first bb contest to his first Sandow.

best and cheapest investment you will EVER make towards learning bodybuilding nutrition.

Go buy them. You will thank me later!

I came here to say Championship Bodybuilding also, but you beat me to it! Chris Aceto has the most intelligent views on macros, protein requirements, etc. Dorian Yates has almost identical views on nutrition, probably came from Chris.

Most people are too stuck in the low carb dogma to deal with Aceto though...

Yea, all the guys I mentioned above have books out on nutrition, and are worth a look.

If you are wanting more scholarly textbook type reads, then most human biochemical and physiological nutrition texts are very good. I still use my old "Biochemical & Physiological Aspect of Human Nutriton" book from when I was back in college:

It's the first one in the link:
https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#...hysiological+aspect+of+human+nutrition+&spd=0

I'm a huge fan of his, and the only reason why I didn't list him was because I wasn't sure if he had an actual book out on Nutrition....but I know he has had some on exercise physiology and training books, and also a recent section that he co-authored with Alan Aragon on (IIRC) vitamin intakes for children in a scholarly text. I can't remember the specifics, but they mentioned it on their facebooks about 2-3 months ago.

I have followed CHRIS ACETO for as long as he has been around. I really admire his work and respect his word as far as nutrition goes.

Any training books? Ways to heal injuries in the quickest possible way?

thanks for all the informations. I ordered chris aceto's championship BB. also found out my wife had sports nutrition guidebook by nancy clark(she's an RD) so i'm going to read them first before investing into other books.
