Bostin Loyd - Dead at 29 Years Old

"lets be for real, if it wasnt for the gear i wouldn't be here, but if i keep taking this gear I wont be here, I start taking the drugs and now the drugs take me"

This is what’s weird. However, Bostin already had compromised kidneys

Renal failure is common following abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair and is associated with increased mortality. Identifying patients at risk of renal failure before surgery is therefore important.

Hum. Might have something there. He certainly had a lot of health problems and yet kept pressing on with the same behavior that got him to that point. If you want to survive to fight another day, you have to know when to throw in the towel.

As we have already seen with quite a few deceased forum members and young guys like Derek Anthony and Bostin Loyd I wonder what makes someone want to try to stay big and ripped even though they know that behavior is leading them directly to death? Its a lot like drug addicts or alcoholics who just cant stop. Is it because guys with mental health issues tend to get into bodybuilding to begin with or develop these mental health problems after they get used to looking a certain way and feel society wont accept them if they are small or fat?

I can relate a bit. I was having problems before my heart attack and yet persisted. Lower doses but still went back to it. I developed cardiomyopathy and got clean for 1 year, but then started using steroids and gh again.

I got real lucky and survived my heart attack. I feel blessed to still be around. After the heart attack I learned my lesson, finally.

Great post

I think part of it is bigorexia. It's looked at differently than anorexia but just as unhealthy. Women tend to get more sympathy than muscular men and I'm not against this, being traditional, I feel like in society it is men's job to protect women. I'd be isulted I'd anyone had sympathy for me and my body dysmorphophobia (we all have it) the way they have it for someone with anorexia.

In addition I do think alot of people with mental health issues or past or current drug addiction issues get into bodybuilding. Some guys care more about their health then others, some have bigorexia to a greater degree than others, some want to be 270lb where some want to be smaller and more ripped, so many factors

You’ll outlive us all!

Agreed. Never liked Leo personally
What I’ve learned in the last year is that Leo has some redeemable qualities and knowledge. I have known/been around Dave since 2005…every bad thing you have ever heard about him isn’t some made up malicious attack..it’s 100% true.

So, while I agree that Leo shouldn’t have went on the attack straight out of the gate. I don’t think he was wrong either.
