Hey guys, bout to purchase a bunch of OTC supps. I just ordered some LBA's from Phil and now these...I'd like some opinions brand wise.

True Protein-Waxy Maize

I'm going to also purchase some fish oil, flax oil and a multi....I'd like some opinions on good brands of these 3. I did a search and read through quite a few threads but I haven't seen anyone mention good brands of these supps.

Since I found this board and its sponsors I have not spent more than forty maybe sixty dollars in a supplement store per month. I think everything we need is available here for the most part with very few exceptions. In fact the only supplement I ever buy besides protein is createin which I like to use as a bridge.
In terms of brands I think it comes down to finances available rather than one brands superiority over another.

They're both good.

Fish oil - I buy it at costco and most of the time buy it on sale. Good product, good price. Same with flax oil. As far as multi, try to get something vegetable based.

True Protein-Hydrolyzed Whey Protein High Grade


All to go with the LBA's.....

Anyone had some experience with the True Protein Whey??

Besides Phil, I would say that Synthetek has the best protein. TP is good, but they are not a board sponsor.

We give the board sponsors money, they give the board money, and we get to utilize the board for free.

Cant go wrong supporting your community.

If synthepure wasn't 50 bucks per 2lb's I'd buy it! That's too steep for me though.

yeah, I wonder how many actually practice what they preach. Yes, I wish I could do this do that, but then I need a 250k/year job and a sugar mamma to support me, my wife, and my two kids...Everyone has to do with what they have.

No you just have to learn to prioritize and properly budget your money. I use LBA's and save lots of money. WAY cheaper than buying tubs of protein powder all the time and WAY better for my body too. If you can afford TP or GNC or even Wal-Mart brand, than you can afford LBA's. And a synthepure has 15grms of protein per tablespoon with no fillers, so thats good too.
Trust me, learn about LBA's, then sit down with a pen and paper and do a little math. You will be surprised.

Yeah, let's look at the math. People love LBA's and they work well for most everyone but don't sell them as a budget item!

OTC supps total - $174/month

whey isolate - 7lb bucket IsoPure - $82 (about $50/month)
Humanofort - $50
multi-vitamin - $22
bromelain - $12
quercetin - $10
vit c - $5
fish oil caps - $15
milk thistle or liv52- $10
