Sorry you are out of luck. This possible prequel may not even star Matt Damon.

In November 2009, Paul Greengrass exited Universal’s planned fourth installment of the Jason Bourne series. The director of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum had expressed hesitation about making another spy thriller, but “creative differences” eventually led to his departure in search of fresh material for his shaky cam. Surprisingly, the studio didn’t immediately replace him with a more “cooperative” filmmaker, leaving the sequel in limbo.
Matt Damon, the star of the franchise, hasn’t seemed interested in doing Bourne 4 either, especially without Greengrass. A script was never completed even after the studio hired Ultimatum co-writer George Nolfi and later Josh Zetumer to write “parallel” scripts.
On the red carpet, Empire Magazine asked Damon for a status update on the possible sequel. He said, “There’ll probably be a prequel of some kind with another actor and another director before we do another one, just because I think we’re probably another five years away from doing it – we’ve got to get a script…”
While he may have invoked the dreaded “prequel” word, Damon seems like he’s offering cynical speculation more than a hint at a possible reboot. At the very least he suggests a timetable for the delayed fourth installment, which may never come at all.
Is Universal that desperate for another Bourne movie they’ll start the series over with a new lead actor? I doubt it, but then again, I never expected Sony to cancel Spider-Man 4 and start production on a reboot the next day. Perhaps there’s a producer somewhere hatching a scheme to turn Bourne into a franchise of self-contained missions and a regularly revolving lead like James Bond. Robert Ludlam only wrote three novels, but Eric Van Lustbader has written four more based on the character with a fifth on the way this summer.
