Ok...Sunday morning I woke up and got out of bed to walk my dogs. I made my way down the stairs...about 2/3rds of the way down my foot slipped and I fell down the stairs. When I tried to get up I noticed my right foot was completely out of socket facing to the side and my leg was facing straight. Needless to say it was very painful.
To make a long story short...I had an ambulance bring me to the hospital where they twisted my foot back into socket (that was intense pain) then I had an orthopedic dr operate on my right ankle (which I had broken 3 bones in). I ended up with 3 screws and a plate...
Now I'm sitting here at my laptop not able to do anything except lay in bed and go from one room to another on my crutches. It sucks...I can't work out, I can't drive, I can't work....very depressing shit.......The doc says perhaps in 6 weeks I may be able to start walking on it....we'll see..
So anybody ever get and injury where you were bedridden for a while? How did you get through it?
