buddy grew an inch from HGH at 24 ?

my friend went to europe last year, and he came back last week... He was on HGH for like 8 months when he was in europe, he said 4iu a day. anyways, we were exactly the same height without shoes and when I saw him I told him that he looks taller, we measured and yes he was an inch taller than me ! his jaws also look a lil bigger, bigger hands and everything

Is that from HGH ? Any of you guys grew taller from HGH ?

well it's a myth that growth plates fuse... I read that in some articles, so I don't know what the science is behind why men stop growing at 21 22

Please tell me what journal said that growth plates don't fuse? If that was not the case then everyone who uses gh would be vastly taller, and it would not be so important for children who suffer from primary and secondary induced growth hormone insufficiency to be diagnosed and have treatment initiated at an age where they can still grow.

If you two were truly the same height before he left, maybe you should have radio-graphs done to make sure you are not suffering from a compression fracture.

well.. i had x ray done at 17 years of age.. the doc told my parents that my growth plates were closed.. and he was probably right as i am the same height as i was then..

something happens at 18 or whatever because everyone stops growing at that age,,,,who cares what studies say about growth plates? everyone knows that you dont grow taller once you get past a certain age i guess for most it is 15-17. ive heard of some athletes maybe having a growth spurt at 19-20,,,,but 24 and still growing? unless the GH fucked with his pituatiary or something like one of those 8 foot tall guys that gets a tumor there and starts growing and eventually dies of it...if he really thinks he grew and his face looks like it grew i think he should seriousley see a doc because a 24 year old should not be growing like that,,,it just doesnt happen.

My father grew a couple inches in his mid 20's. This was in the 1950's...no growth no testosterone...just plain ol' genetics.

I definitely didn't stop growing at 18, i grew till I was 21, I'm freakin 6'3 now! I think it really just depends on your genetics, if you are meant to be tall then you will grow like a damn tree haha.

That is all true, but someones bones wont grow larger just using HGH. You have to have those stem cells he is talking about and im sure it goes much deeper than that. Just taking HGH isnt going to do that. Plenty of people take HGH as adults and do not grow. The long bones are one of the first kind of bones to ossify and the epiphysis is solidified with the diaphysis. The flat bones happen later on in life, and someone in their early 20s could have growth there its pretty common, but most people in their early 20s have had their long bones solidify.
I would guess that the OPs friend perhaps has immensely better posture now than before perhaps, or maybe he is one of those guys that was a late bloomer. I had a friend that grew about 3 nches between the age of 18-20.

I know of a guy that was 6'2 when he was 14 years old and could grow a beard faster than my dad! Funny thing is, he didn't grow anymore after age 14.

I also knew a kid that was about 5'1 as a freshman in high school. He was a small blonde kid with no body or facial hair, he looked like a 10 year old. Well, by the time the fucker was a senior in high school he had grown to be 6'2 and got a scholarship to play football at BYU. It's all in the genes!

I dont know if I got taller but I was running 10+ iu's a day for couple years in a row. One day I went to buy shoes and my shoe size increased an inch. I could not fit into 11 shoes at all. I almost could not fit into 12's. Never thought about my height though.

there was a 15 year old kid that was 7'4" at my school....he's playing ABA basketball now, just saw him a few weeks ago. Our school principle let him drive without a license at 14 hahah.

Yeah, I had that too when I was on GH but once I got off my shoe size went back down. I think it was water retention maybe. Those long bones wont grow, maybe the tarsals do though, who knows.

If your growth plates are closed, you won't get taller. Happens around age 18 for most males.
In some rare cases, it can take until the late 20's.

One of the fisherman from deadliest catch mentioned that he grew an inch taller this season at age 28.
I wish I could do that.
