Bullies on this Board ... Negativity and BS Must Stop

I will preface what I'm about to say by admitting that I'm a newbie to the board. This is my first post, but I've read the board for quite a while. I was moved to finally register and post by what went down in one of the threads yesterday. Although many of you can probably guess what I'm referring to, for the sake of avoiding personal attacks and such I will just say that certain members of this forum bring a very negative enrgy and seem to feel the need to be downright mean for no good reason. I don't care who you are - even if you're a bigshot pro you don't have the right to be rude to people. If some of you have issues or bitterness you need to deal with them on your own and not lash out at the good people on this board as a way of making yourself feel better. It comes off as bullying and it really needs to stop.

First off, you're implying that I'm lying by suggesting that I'm already a member here. I take offense to that, but I'll let it slide. I have read a lot of posts on here and I see a pattern of certain people being mean to other people and I'm here to speak up about it. I know from the PM's I've received that certain people appreciate me doing this. Anybody who says that they haven't seen this go on is either scared to speak up or has their head up their ass.

I want to be the first to apologize for anything myself or Vander has done to upset anyone on this site. I am sorry and Vander is sorry and I hope all is forgiven. Negative Failure, is there any chance of posting the responses you have gotten with out giving away the sender? I really have no clue who would PM you, we are all getting along so well lately.

I have found that by going to my user CP and adding a couple board members to my 'ignore' list has improved my enjoyment of Professional Muscle.

I think it's commendable that you stepped up and apologized - that shows you to be a good man and a positive, thoughtful individual. I'm not sure it would be a good idea to post the responses I received, although I could leave names out. I'll have to think about that one.

It's real simple, if you don't like what someone has to say don't listen or don't read it. This place is full of extremely opinionated individuals. When others that come here can't handle that maybe they should find a forum that fits them better.
I take offense to you coming on here with your first couple of posts talking about bullying people and being rude. This is a place for opinions to be expressed, not everyone is going to like what someone has to say. You make us sound like where trying to steal peoples lunch money around here and I really don't like that. Many of us like and take this place serious as it gives us an escape from the drama in ourlives. Along with allowing us to meet and talk to people of the same interests and somewhat same "skill" level.
Saying one man is better than another because he is willing to apologize is crap! That really pisses me off. Don't take this the wrong way Phil. Phil is no better than anyone around here. Granted he does take time for almost everyone and is very knowledgeable, I've turned to him a few times and asked for help. We all know that he's a good guy and most of everyone here are good guys. I'm not going to step up and apologize for something as I don't believe I've ever wronged anyone here or bullied anyone. This still makes me a good guy as I'm standing up for this board and what I believe. Until you can come up with the pm's or emails I don't think this should be dicussed as there is no validity to it. Sorry but this is the way I feel. It's like I have a secret but I can't tell type of crap. Take this drama to elitefitness or something

I don't think anyone here is a bully and if anyone disagrees I'll BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF 'EM. I also don't think anyone is condescending...if you had any common sense you'd see that. As for anyone being mean, well, that just makes me want to kick a kitten.

I am in 100% agreement with Army. We argue like brothers do, because for YEARS (for some of us) we have been interacting via the board. Phil is a straight shooter and comes off sometimes as too blunt. I respect it though. I would much rather someone tell me how they feel -- than have them bullshit me, which BTW is far more insulting then someone giving it to me straight. True Phil sometimes loses his tact and speaks his mind. Like I said, I LIKE that. Also I have witnessed Phil give compliments, so IMO this gives what he has to say more credibility. As he is not afraid to say the bad or the good -- it is just that people have a tendency to get really butt hurt if it happens to be the bad. So let it go NF.
