Hi,

first of all going to a doctor or whatever is not an option. don't even know where and who to ask for this. it is the gastrocnemius (sp?)

I remember I had a pain in this leg months ago, been outta gym for awhile as well.

what can I do to sort my calf out? there is always a way , pmma in future will be last resort though. I want my calf muscle regrown, there must be a way, there is a way I am sure.

Cheers

why isn't going to a Dr an option? likely they would refer you to specialist after diagnosis.. you don't need to know what it is in order for them to figure it out

There is always bpc-157 and tb-500. I have not used them but I have read threads here raving about the healing properties. Check the peptides section or do a search.

DOOD, you post is way hard to understand. Why say there is no pain, then act like it needs to be re-attached. Why not start with the basics

1. What's the problem? pain? difference in size, strength?

2. What makes you think a strain happened? hear a "Snap"? did you feel a lot of pain after a hard workout?

3. Did you ever see "black and blue" bruising."

once you tell your story then people can help you.

ps. what country you live in too, cheers

I have the same thing. It was in a winter, first time it occured was when i took the first step going down the stairs. I felt an intense cramping sensation running from inside ankle(medial) to the bottom of my knee. It felt as i strained my soleus. after few minutes the pain was gone and there was no bruise or lump so i thought it was just dehydrated muscle that was strained and kept it easy for a while on calf movements. nothing happened afterwards.
then after few months in hot summer months, i was warming up with leg curls and I tore my hamstring in same side. ever since then my calf rolled up into a ball and there's a dent on the bottom of my gastronemius. my right soleus has grown larger to compensate for it.

If there was no bruising, lack of mobility, or long lasting pain, it seems there may be an issue with muscle recruitment/firing. this could be caused by nerve issues, but also by adhesions between tendons/muscles, that is tricking your nervous system into believing the muscles are "maxed out" while they are not.

I would start with a GOOD ART chiro to find the spots that are messed up, then take that info and get a good 1 hour deep tissue massage that focuses on those spots.

It could very well be a nerve issue if you are not able to fully contract your calf muscle, i.e. lack of nerve firing.
