Im on the day 16 of my bulking cycle and wanted to ask a question about bumpin up calories. days 1 to 14 i ate around 3800 now the last two days ive bumped that up to 4200 i figure to keep bumping up the calories by 400 every two weeks as long as my lb doesnt go over 5-6lbs durin that two week span? i am 26 runing my 1st cycle of test e at 500mg and 30mg dbol. lookin to run the test e for 8 weeks and cutting the dbol out at week 4. I am 6' 1 210lbs at 12%bf. Normally i only run my calories as high as 4500 but with the gear should i keep goin higher?

My diet as for yesterday was.

Meal one (always the same)
1 cup oatmeal
1/3 cup dried blueberries
1tbs peanutbutter
1 scoop whey
2 cups skim milk

Meal 2: 3 eggs
4whites
2 lite english muffins
1oz lite mozzeralla
1tbs honey
2cups skim milk

Meal 3: 1/2lb pork tenderloin
2cups yams
1cup corn
1 cup skim milk

Postwork out: 16oz cranberry juice
8oz oj
2 scoops whey

meal 5: 1/2lb flank steak
2 cups brown rice
1 oz lite chedder cheese
2 cups mixed vegs

Before bed: 1 cup skim milk
total for day:
Calories:4,207
Fat: 98
CHo:522
fiber:48
Pro:322

is there anything i should change. most meals stay the same most days sometimes salmon and beans instead of flank.
 
You are on the right track, just keep slowly adding some cals each week, the minute you think you are spilling the wrong way just cut back the last increase and stay there!! Looks like a good plan.

That meal plan looks fine, but are you sure that equals 4200 cals? because it doesn't look like it to me.
 
Yes im pretty sure ive been keepin a journal with my macro breakdowns for years. only things i too get kinda skeptical on are things like yams and steak as fitday and my complete food counter books seem to differ on breakdowns.

I used fitday for todays breakdown instead of labels and writing in my book.

meal 2: 3 eggs

snack: 1 green apple
1 cup pretzels
8oz orange juice

meal 3: same as 1

Meal 4:8 oz ground beef (90%lean)
2 cups brown rice
2cups skim milk

Meal 5: 7oz pork tenderloin
1.5 cups yams
1 cup skim milk

Fat: 111
CHo: 565
Protein: 290

Looks good man. I would take oldfella's advice and keep increasing cals as much as you'd like, unless you notice an overabundance of fat gain in which you could just then cut back on the fat/ and or carb intake. You obviously want to keep your protein intake as high as possible, and with you being 210llbs, I would say at least 300 grams/day would be a good idea. The only other thing I would suggest is to use the food labels themselves as much as possible when looking at cal. breakdowns because the readings will be more precise than that of a generalized book.
