What happens is the meth keeps them awake. Then no sleep and meth equals hallucinations. Bad news!

Working in corrections in a jail I can tell you meth is a big time destroyer.. I see coke abuse.. opioid abuse... but meth has no equal.. it just destroys the mind and body like no other..

Sadly it's almost impossible to get off.. we see guys and gals come into facility and be here 6 months.. clean.. you'd think the " chain has been broken".. but literally the day of release they are back on and usually arrested in two weeks.

Yes.

That and the real prospect of losing everything that is near and dear to you, that which is unrepairable and forever lost. Assuming you are in the right frame of mind to even comprehend that.

When you reach the bottom, quit digging.

Been there, done that, and without going into tooooo many details, that is what it took me (not meth) to stop killing myself.

When we had guess CVM cycle threads I would have never guessed meth was in the stack, I was way off.

It's usually because they go back to the same crowd.. and many times the spouse or girlfriend or boyfriend is still using while they are in jail.. so of course the minute they are reunited it's the cycle repeating.
