How Yaxeni Oriquen-Garcia got 2nd and Betty Pariso 5th? I trained Betty for this show and even if I was biased I just don't get it?

It appears to me that betty is leaner harder and more muscular and vascular with better skin color and oil and hair and suit than Yaxi...perhpas yaxi had better make up?

Ya got me bro I don't pretend to understand womens bb'ing judging standards nor do I even attmept to try and interpret figure and fitness they fugg up the placings more and more each show and confuse everyone.

She looked great though props on her prep.

yaxeni has more pleasing look ie feminine (well somewhat anyways) betty is huge hard vascular and dense, kinda overkill for a female. nice job on the prep though. female bodybuilding is so inconsistent. last time i watched a female show was like 10 years ago at the mrs international when paula birchumshaw (sp) looked like a female dorian and they placed her way down (outta the top 6) and she came out during the final posedown and flipped of the judges and started posing anyways, crowd went nuts. i think anja langer or some more feminine asthetically pleasing chick won that year.

Thanks for the compliment. Your points are irrelevent since Iris Kyle won. She would be the ipitamy of overkill non-feminine physique. There is no more 20% rule. From first thru 5 it went ripped, soft, soft, ripped, ripped. Also, Betty beat Yax. at the Olympia last year.

You did a phenomenal job bro. She looks amazing and I am sorry that the judging is so out of whack. I worry when I get Dena ready for the Europa this year so I watch each show closely to see where they are going but it changes from show to show. Getting a female ready for a show is insane these days.

P.S. just missed you this weekend according to Flex, I was hoping to chat with you. Oh well, another show.

Thanks! Betty was real happy where she placed. At 51 she was just wanting to stay in the mix. I had her in a solid 3rd or maybe 2nd and so did King and Chic.

I ran into Flex near the end on Sun. He was running around looking for his girlfriend. lol Look forward to meeting you.

Hey magnum, first you did an outstanding job with Betty. I have'nt seen that kind of conditioning in a womens show since Kim Chev. some years back. Great job!! I have always been of the opinion that BBing is just that. Being judged squarely on physique and muscularity. If you want a beauty contest go to one!! Betty was clearly ahead of Yax. She had what I call the BBing look. Hard, dry and dense. Betty is still a pretty woman but carries an incredible physique. It is the judgeing that needs to be revamped, not only for the women but men also. No one likes defeat especially when the defeat is one sided and what I might say politcally motivated. I think we need to go back to Body Building and leave the beauty pagents to the figure girls!!

We watched pre-judging and I wondered I never got a good look at Yaxeni but I did see Betty and it was the best I have seen her look.......

It seems women's juding has been doing "spot chacks" on the enforcement of the 20% rule where some shows it enforces it and some not and at this show it now was a mix of both enforcing the rule and not....hmmm

BTW, it was good to meet you and King........

She looks ripped. The other girl looks like she needed 2 more weeks to diet and dry out. Judging in BB is ridiculous. Did you say she is 51?

I agree with oldfella. Judge bodybuilders AS bodybuilders, not on "femininity," and all that other nonsense.

I'll never forget Ben Weider lisping to the judges that "We need to protect our girls" in the female Pumping Iron movie. This was why Bev Francis was placed so low that year.

If listening to Ben is any indication, the "girls" certainly won't have to be "protected" from him.

She was much leaner and harder than Yaxeni... It is a bodybuilding show and should be judged accordingly... No one can tell me all things aside that Betty did not have the best physique between the two...
