can u make liquid orals with whiskey?

maybe a dumb question but can u make liquid orals with whiskey? i have some 80mg telmisartan tabs that shatter into a million pieces if u try to cut them so i wanna make a liquid oral with them to split up the dose but only have some cheap whiskey on hand and live in a place where vodka is expensive and everclear doesnt exist. plz advise, thx.

They make a liquid you add your meds to that is thicker so it stays in suspension a little longer when you shake it. OraPlus

right on, ive heard of that before. im living overseas rn tho so ordering stuff from the US takes a while to get here and id rather just use this old bottle of cheap whiskey i already got on hand i never drink lol.

The whiskey more then likely won’t turn it into a solution, it’s still going to be a suspension so if you want in whisky by all measures go for it lol

lol i can actually just buy em OTC here but id rather just use what i have, i had em for yrs so might as well use em up lol. its not like putting em into a liquid oral fucks em up or something lol. plus i wanna start at 20mg telmi and idk if they make tabs with that low of a dose.

just go buy new ones.
you have no idea how it will work out mg/ml as there are binders and fillers in pills not just the active component. you also dont know though you could look if your active is at all soluable in acl. there is a big difference in 40% and 98%. the compound youre using isnt and "oral" like oral aas. even many oral aas dont just go into ea nice and easy.

probably best no to mess withe bp med dose especially if you need them.

I used to do this with powder and dribble each dose over a saltine cracker and let the alcohol evaporate. Then you just throw those in a Tupperware .

It's really hard to say. Every medication has a different solubility. It also depends on how much liquid you use and what concentration. As a general answer I would say "no". But 191 vodka or 151 rum are fairly safe bets. You might try a pill cutter first or find 40mg tablets of telmisartan.
