Can you get fat on SLIN if.....

Normally pwo when on cycle with GH I take in 50g maltodextrin/50g dextrose and 80g whey. I never gained fat on that. Now im gonna add slin and start at 2iu's per day and work my way up 1iu each day till I hit 8iu's. Now they say the rule is to stick with 10carbs per iu slin, but when im only at 2,3,4iu's,slin, should I only take in 20,30 and 40 carbs, or is my original shake ok to use from start(2iu's) to finish(8iu's) Basically what im getting at is, if i dindt get fat from 100carb/80g whey when not on slin, can I when on slin?
 
Great question! I'm curious myself....:confused:
 
your post shake is ok from start to finish! what you need to watch (depending on type of insulin used) is the fat content of meals following the insulin shot!

without GH if you didn't get fat with that post workout shake, and your normal daily calorie content then your not going to get fat with the insulin, if meals are thought out (see above post).

Just stick to the shake you are using now, you wont get fat as long as you keep your meals clean after your slin shot. I would only change it if you were to go above 10iu of slin PWO. Looks like you are ready to get Fullybuilt. Respect.
 
I asked this ? on another board and I got this response. What do you think:

"um, no. i don't think. i'm not sure if i read that right or not but i think you went the other way. you wouldn't want to take your normal shake carb wise. say you take 4iu's of insulin. you can take in as much protein as you can but you only want 40g carbs. say you took 80g. you'd essentially be covering for 8iu's of insulin. it will be too many and your bsl will shoot way up. it will take longer to deplete while the synthetic insulin is still working. it leaves the possibility of excess calls to be pushed into fat cells. everything gets all ****ed up. this might be ok with a long acting insulin and slow digesting carbs if you were really, really knowledgeable about what was going on. but most people aren't and that's why we all use log or r insulin. so it's not protein that's the issue it's the carbs. here's what i commonly do exactly from the workout forward..."

4:00pm - workout

5:00pm - finish workout - immediately inject 8iu humulin r

5:01pm - XXg protein/80g carbs

7:00pm - XXg protein/40g carbs*

9:00pm - XXg protein/no carbs unless needed as per monitor reading**

11:00pm - regular meal - insulin out of system

* may be more or less depending on glucose reading
** if bsl is too low i add carbs
