Cant send emails

I've been using my countermail account with a VPN for years and all of a sudden today I cant send emails. I get 2 messages when I try to send.

1.) Message not sent.
Authentication failed
Server replied: 535 5.7.8 Error: authentication failed:

2.) Message not sent.
Connection timed out
Server replied: 110 Can't open SMTP stream



I am not good with computers at all so if someone knows how I can fix this and can explain step by step i'd appreciate it. Btw I have windows and use firebox fi that helps.

Could there be a problem with your VPN connection? The 2nd error indicates there's an issue connecting to the mail server to transmit the message. Maybe disconnect/reconnect. Could be on their end though.

It's working now. I also sent an email to that account the other day and it didn't go through till today so it must have just been counter mail acting up yesterday.
