depends on who ya talk to.. victor martinez said once that he ran out of money and just was pursuing his personal training biz full time.. others said he had health issues.. he still looks great though..

Wow, that picture where it has him morphing from 2004 to 2005 is crazy. He looks really bloated though in the after.

Why give up?

There's a lot of guys like Caprice, who just come and go. What's the biggest factor for someone that's made it so far already, to just quit? Is it money?health reasons? or what? Can you guys think of some other bodybuilders who could have been great but decided not to compete in bodybuilding.(quit)(not retire) other than Caprice and Cook?

I see him in Manhattan from time to time.

I see Caprice from time to time in the City and usually at all of the local NPC shows in NYC. He is really cool and is great shape not massive like in days past he is very conditioned and looks healthy. Cap is trainer and for the most part bases all of his clients out of Steel Gym in Manhattan.
I saw Caprice win his pro card at nationals in 04. He was massive then..however after he won his pro card he really started pushing things. From what I heard he had some health issues that developed that was a deciding factor in his decision to step away from the contest stage. ( again that is what I heard...can't take it for fact). I do know that he was prepped by John O' Reagan for his win at nationals.
Whatever the case may be Cap has outstanding genetics...and could have done very well on the IFBB stage if he had continued.

I remember that guy! He looked great. One of the things I love about bodybuilding is a guy can disapear for 5 or 10 years and pop back up, look at Kevin English. Lots of talent in the NYC!

Caprice is a friend of mine..the reason he stopped competing is due to seizures...

Those are some great pics. The guest posing with Vic, Kamali and Chris Cook is great. Chris is so pale its blinding! Seriously, I'm glad to hear Cap is doing well. I thought his physique was out of this world when he got his pro card. Just phenominal genetics.
