Hello guys.. I wasnt sure where to post this so forgive me.. But I wanted to shoot at it anyway and see if anyone can be of help.
I just moved from overseas to Central Fl close to Tampa and Im pursuing some studies to gain my commercial pilot liscense. I will be here for approx 5 months and I was using the school's car to get around town, go to the gym and grocery ( the most important things other than my studies). The car was in such a horrible condition that it finally shut down with me 15 miles away and they had to tow it back. Engine is cracked and they need to repair it and I don't see that happening in the foreseeable future.
Suddenly I feel so overwhelmed because I cant get to the gym or even the grocery! I will go insane if i cant get to the gym. Its gonna bother me emotionally if i cant train hard! Its fairly close by but its on some major roads and I really don't want to risk riding a bike on dual carriage way. I am looking for a car to use for the immediate short term please and off course, I will maintain and keep in good shape. I just need to be mobile and able to get to the airport if I need to and not stuck. If anyone can be of any assistance or guidance, I will be very grateful. I see there are some car rentals at $8 a day.. I may look into that option. Serious inquiries only.
