Car Porn 200mph Camaro 1/2 mile

This is my buddy's Camaro entire car was basically stripped and rebuilt multiple times. I think there has been 3 or 4 different turbo kits and probably 5 builts for this car all ready. I have seen it go from 11's, 10's. 9's and now 8's. The final goal is a 200 mph run at 1/2 a mile.

They missed it by 1.5 mph i believe it was and there was also allot of head wind that day. The car was also not on full boost either.

I'm a corvette guy, but I like the your buddies style of camaro a lot more than the new style of camaro. 200mph in the 1/4 has to feel insane. Very cool. Is it streetable?

Coool, I got a 04 Millenium Yellow. I assume with that top speed you have a C5? Twin turbos would be insane and the cost of install too!

I have C6 , 2012 Grand sport race tunned.
LT headers no cats and SLP loudmouth exhaust
Competition Cam
Ported Fast 102 intake plenum
Ported throttle body
Race fuel injectors and fuel rails.
Airraid intake
Vararam power wedge spacer
MGW short shifter with upgraded lower box.
Race tunned by TPS motorsport.

475whp and 460tq

or around 540hp to the crank

178mph was the speed i get up to before i got scared LOL, it can go few more mph for sure.

I don't wanna brag but I do have 1994 GMC Suburban. Oh, and it's baby blue. Gets about 6 MPG (highway). Tell him he can have the 7.4L 454 engine that powers my ozone depleting snail of a Truck.
No shit though, the camaros pretty sweet.

haha nice rides.. yeah mines an 05 mustang with an 04 cobra block stroked to 5.0. had a procharger P1SC made 615 rwhp at 16 psci and was spinning that thing so fast I think my blower should have turned red.

Sold that and got a custom fabricted whipple 3.4L and realized the fab work was crap so we refabed the inlet and everything else dropped in fine. running methanol injection from ekly, trunk mounted ice box intercooler, 3 ford gtsuper car fuel pumps, transmission is being swapped soon, and I hope to be in the high 9's. with 750rwhp maybe 800 rwhp if I don't get to much belt slip. I have a 10 rib pulley now thinking of going to a 12 rib.

My dream car has been the GS vette since they've come out in C6 form(I love the Z06 body with the removable top and auto option). Love it, white is a rare color too, especially for a GS. Very awesome and a sick list of mods. I assume it can hang this the Z06 C6 at this point if not take it out.

I always wanted to fix up and build a car but never got the money to do it. I had a 99 gmc sierra new body style z71 took did a 5.3 to 6.0 swap did 4l80e swap converted to 4wd had a procharger plsc on it ported polished heads cam ect and was putting 475hp and 500ftlbs of torque she was a sweet ride then I sold her for almost nothing bc needed a full size vehicle to haul family
