Was in a car wreck and have a broken nose, few small lacerations, black eye, and concussion.

I’m currently working towards my doctorate so school and brain function/return to normal is a big priority for me.

Most of the supplements I already take help with inflammation and healing but was wondering if anyone has any good info on anything else I can be doing to speed healing

Started last night or increased doses -
Curcumin
Fish oil
Alpha lipoid acid
ALCAR
Piracetam
Choline
Growth hormone

Also taking a few other additional antioxidants. Any other recs?

Actually did take one dose of my adderall this morning because I had a lab to get through. Going to try to avoid that as much as possible in the short term though

I wore nicotine patches for each portion of the CPA exam... they work

I was in a car wreck in 2007...had a concussion and ruptured tricep tendon...I had no specific medical protocol other than surgery for the tricep...I did get migraines for a few years...good luck...

CBD preferably a full spectrum blend as cannabinoids are very protective of and helpful at restoring brain functioning

Sorry to hear man hope you heal up fast. How’s the car??

Rest rest rest and stay hydrated. You can email or talk to your professors and explain your situation if attendance is an issue, get notes from class mates you trust to take good notes, and show up on test days. You can't speed this process up.

What are you getting your doctorate in and how far along are you?

Glad you're OK.

I admire your dedication towards completing your doctorate.

Ive had three concussions and it wasn't really a big deal for me. I was messed up for about 24 hours tops each time but then I felt totally normal. One was a car accident and I don't remember at least an hour or so, its like that part of my life never happened. I woke up in the CATSCAN machine. Personally I wouldn't worry about it.

Here, we show that the mitochondrial uncoupling agent 2,4-dinitrophenol (DNP) elicits adaptive signaling responses in the cerebral cortex involving activation of Ca(2+) -CREB and autophagy pathways, and inhibition of mTOR and insulin signaling pathways. The molecular reprogramming induced by DNP, which is similar to that of exercise and fasting, is associated with improved learning and memory, suggesting potential therapeutic applications for DNP.

How did the aftermath go?

Wondering how you felt the next day or so.

Happy to hear your ok ,and keep motivated to get your degree

Interesting I have heard of neuropathy caused by DNP and NORMALLY anything that is good for / bad for the nerves also applys to the brain.... For this reason I ASSUMED DNP would be bad but apparently was wrong. But fasting and cardio are really good for the brain and apparently DNP can mimic this...
