Hi guys
I know this might be basic stuff to lot but iv never tried carb cycling or paid attention to insulin sensitivity before, iv always just eat 500-700carbs aday, everyday, and also a lot hi gi carbs like sugar and white bread,
Iv got a high metabolism so even eating like this it takes about 10 months to lose sight off abs, but am on a diet now and planing my bulk diet and noticed a lot of people on this forum carb cycling and thought I'd give it ago.
From what I gather "insulin sensitivity is king" in bodybuilding and you wanna get it high as possible by only eating low gi carbs throughout the day (oats, rice, potatoes) and stay clear of breads and sugar
Then taking 3 shakes to gym (pre/intra/post), all 3 containing 50g dex, pre and itra containing say, 15g bcaa, 5g creatine, 5g glutamine, and post shake containing 30g hydro whey, then 30mins later a solid meal?
Also I train mon-fri and weekends off, so does this look ok....
Protein 450g ED, 120fats ED...
Mon - high carb - 700g
Tue - med - 500g
Wed - high 700g
Thu - med 500g
Fri - high 700g
Sat - low 300g
Sun - low 250g
This this look ok, or am I way off?
