If i were dieting on 2400 cals and wanted to start cycling my carbs, should i keep the calories the same and just adjust the fats accordingly or should i decrease the calories as well?
I never really paid attn to the calories to tell you the truth, just the number of carbs and protein sometimes fats....but I would not add in anything to make up the loss of cals when cycling the carbs, but thats just me. When I diet I prefer low fat anyways.
I usually never pay attention to calories, but i have never carb cycled before. I was just thinking if i kept the number of cals the same by adjusting my fat intake, i would be able to stay fuller and prevent any significant muscle loss.
on ur low cb days(should be ur rest days) u can add some healthy fats in to avoid the huge weight fluctuations that are sometimes associated with cb cycling. when i cycle cbs my weight will be all over the place. i found that on rest days id throw in some extra egg yokes and some avacado and maybe an extra red meat meal to avoid it. but keep in mind u are dieting. a calorie deficit is necessary. so dont go crazy dumping peanut butter on everything
