Carb Question

I'm useing the Growth Principles for Beg workout and getting 400-500g of protein with shakes at every meal. I have added cardio on off days in the morning at a low intensity. My carbs are 300g or less a day. My question is can i switch my carb choice of grains to mostly fruits because of small bloat or should i keep some grains and fruits? I want to have minimal fat gain while trying to build the most muscle onto my tall frame. Thanks for all the help.
 
I experienced no sides from fruit and that is the main carb source of mine, although I still make sure to eat vegetables in my diet, too.
 
Thanks for the advice....I feel like fruit is better than grains and I still feel like I have a ton of energy.

I think most of the experienced guys will tell you the majority of your carbs should come from complex sources. Did I read your post correctly, your considering 300 grams of carbs from fruit?

Nothing wrong with a having a few pieces of fruit but don't rely on fruit for total carbs...just my 2 cents. :)

There is a pretty significant following on here that rely on fruits exclusively for carbs. The sugar in fruit is not the same as sugar in soda, etc. They are usually lower GI than most complex grains.
 
IMO keep fruits minimal. Rely on the staple of brown rice/ sweet potato for carb source.

Depends on what kind of fruits. Some are very high on the glycemic index.
