I'm keeping carbs very low, around 40 grams a day and still lifting hard. More volume, less weight. I have been having one re-feed carb day where I'm going to 100 grams, particularly on leg day. My BF% is decreasing but I feel very lethargic and flat after day 3. What are others opinion's? I was thinking of doing a moderate to higher carb day on day 4 instead of day 7.

What's your bf%? Most people look like shit when they first start cutting because they're just carrying a lot more fat than they thought.

Once you get down to 10% you look pretty good no matter what.

Also, I can get full as a house in the gym on 1 gallon of water with 1 tablespoon of pink salt pre gym. Than another while training.. while doing psmf and dnp..
 
Just do what Gironda was saying every 72 hours high carb meal. Galeniko diet is the same and also nhe diet- they all have in common at least 300 gram of carbs every 3 days.
 
If youve been dieting this for any decent amount of time, 100g of carbs aint going to do a thing.
You need 400-1000g (depending on your size).

And youre lethagic because you're very low carb...pretty obvious.
How lean are you and how long have u been dieting for?
 
Im 6'3", 235 pounds.
I'm 15% BF.
200mg TRT. 4IU GH (only 2 weeks). I'm 51 and its harder to lose BF. Im lifting hard as always and doing 45 min cardio fasted 4 times a week. I'm doing lower carbs and 1.5grams protein per pound and keeping carbs low. Doing a few high carb meals weekly. I want to get to 10-12%.
I went from 17% to 15% and been dieting for 1 month. I did travel for work for 1 week which set me back.
I have DNP but haven't started it. I also have clen but haven't started.
I went off metformin bc of low varb but use Berberine on carb day
 
I wouldn't call 100g a carb up. What are your total daily calories? Imo to lose weight and fat...you need to decrease them if scale isn't dropping. If at say 2500 and lot losing weight, maybe 2300. Simply adjusting macros probably won't do much.
 
Not to be a dick but 100 grams of carbs isn’t a re-feed. And 40 isn’t a low day - that’s basically keto. I would rethink this strategy unless you want to continue to feel like poopie. You can still lose weight and up the carbs with cardio.
 
I get it why he is at 40 per day- you just feel great. But like guys says dont be afraid to up the carbs , if you are fat adapted it will take very short time to go back to keto. In fact this is in your best bet to be able to utlilise both fuels.

i do I think this the most optimal approach. Set up on those two days back and chest session as these two bodyparts involved all push and pull movements. Then on those days eat mostly lean proteins and greens and when evening come it whatever you want for example large size pizza and tub of hagen dazz. Start with fruit salad about an hour before because when liver glycogen is full it is easier to fill muscle glycogen. Next day goes back to normal keto.
 
Definitely don’t refeed on a cardio day.

I wouldn't even consider ingesting DNP until you have your diet locked in. I also probably wouldn't advise even purchasing DNP let alone putting it in your body unless you have done thorough research on it to where you don't need to ask basic questions about it.

Not trying to be a dick, just looking out. It's not something you should blindly mess around with.
