Carbless postworkout vs carbs postworkout.

Guys help me choose in your opinion which protocol is better for being lean - carbs only postworkout or carb in last meal assuming that i train first thing in the morning. My goal is to stay lean. Calories like always are deciding factor. I am lower carb person. Which protocol will provide better result.
 
You cant do both? Which do you feel better doing ?
 
Try a week carbs at night then another week carbs post workout and then another week were you split them. You will hopefully find your answer
 
I used to wake up, take a pre-wo, and go lift fasted.

For the past couple months I've been eating a pre-wo meal with around 40g complex carbs, 33g protein, 10g fat and hour prior to working out with a pre-wo 30 minutes prior to working out.

Never had results as good as I've been having since starting this. Also have a similar meal in shake form directly post-wo.

I feel great on both really , evening only protocol will make sure i am compliance with it all the time 😁 little treat with wife for example 😉

Yeah, trial and error. But I personally do best carbs intra. Starting to sip 15ish min prior.
 
Your probably one of the leaner people here I don't know if these little things will make a difference unless your dropping calories.

My calorie intake determines my weight and bf. 6 meals, 2 meals, more carbs or fat has never mattered and I've tweaked them all. Protein always high. The cpwo theory has been around a while I tried it once nothing different than traditional styles, same with training fasted, total calories and macros were what mattered.

I think bro science and the analysis nerds on IG both agree that carbs pre and post are ideal so I eat mine then to be safe.
 
If your dead set on carbs for one meal only, definitely pre bed. Just for the sleep.

I have to train at the ass crack of dawn semi fasted, Go work 12-13 hours, and when I’m home, those carbs definitely tamper down the stress endorphins.

When in prep and it got really low, it was intra and perhaps post workout only. I felt that this put the carbs where I wanted them more effectively.
 
If the primary goal is to be lean, then the strategy you'll stay compliant with is the best choice.
