Im not sure about food labelling in the US but in the UK, generally you have per 100g - Protein in grams, Carbs in grams, Carbs of which are sugars in grams and Fats in grams.
Now, I don't really know jack about sugars other than the fact that they are generally bad for you and obviously a fast carb that is easily stored as fat. Trying to find some things with low "of which sugars" sometimes proves to be a difficult task, things such as yogurts, flapjacks, bagels etc etc.
Im just wondering if all of these "which are sugars" are bad or basically if all sugars are equal, say such as the sugars in fruits and the sugars in bread.
Problem is, theres no way of telling where the sugars are derived from.
Your thoughts?
