Carbs before bed?

I have read mixed views on having carbs in your last meal before you go to bed, some people saying that as carbs main use is for energy u don’t need them as your not active when sleeping etc and others saying you need them as it’s like saying to someone don’t have carbs just before they go to work and dont get time eat for a long period.

I’m guessing that a factor would be how sensitive an individual is to carbs and what they are trying to achieve mass phase or cutting for a show etc. I was wondering what you guys think and views of this subject?

well I'll tell u when I first started working with my trainer I he had me eating 1 cup of oats at the last meal of the day and I was scared but he said to trust him and it worked I started dropping BF fast still eating carbs before bed so for some it deff works. I did notice I woke up way more hungry having carbs before bed then with out them.

I couldn't agree more. I could never figure out where this myth came from... Calories are calories no matter when you eat them. Carbs are the same, whenever you eat them.
 
I seem to lean up more when i eat a lot of carbs-low carb does nothing for me when dieting-were all different though.
 
I thought the idea of cutting carbs out several hrs pre bed was to limit the production of insulin while you slept??.

I know when I do eat them late that I wake up starving
 
For a good nights sleep? Absolutely!
 
I have eggs and oats before bed all the time. Definitely a myth.
