Cardio Question?

I have a football game tomorrow and was thinking about going to the gym today and doing 30 - 60 min of high intensity cardio. I was thinking of doing that or just resting. My job requires me to work 11 days on 3 days off. so today is the 1st day off after going 11 straight. I guess the question Im asking is does anyone think the cardio I do today will impede my performance tomorrow or help it?

Any good sound advice would be appreciated.
 
I did cardio today and I'm squatting tomorrow so i wouldn't worry about it.

Edit just noticed you said high intensity for an hour. That being the case depends how used to it you are

I would keep the training moderate today and do some stretching. You'll be depleting your glycogen stores and it could effect your performance tommorow. That's what I did as a competitive swimmer and it worked for me but everyone is different you just gotta find what works best for you.
 
Thanks for the replies, they are appreciated. I decided to just rest today that way I will be fresh tomorrow. I am not very used to High Intensity Cardio I got sick last month after pulling a hammy never really got over it got sick again 3 weeks later (Bronchitis) , and I was just trying to get back in shape as quick as I could.
 
When I used to do heavy squats I wouldn't do cardio the day before or after.

I felt I had better leg workouts and recovered faster
