I always do my cardio firs thing in the morning on empty stomach, and don't eat anything for another hour, it's the old Bill Phillips concept, the idea behind it and it was clinically tested , is that you rev up your metabolism and by not adding any other source of fuel in your system your body would use body fat as energy, now the system he implemented was short intervals at high intensity, for example the pyramid style for 20 to 30 minutes max. This is how it works , you determine what your higher intensity is and you work your self up to it one minute at a time once you reached your higher point you pyramid back down and then you go back up, this is how I do it on tread mill, my highest intensity is 9, so I start with2 minutes at 5, then I do 1 minute at 6 , one minute at 7, one minute at 8, then do 6,7,8 intervals one minute at a time till reaching 20 minutes, then you go all out for me is 9 for last minute. This burns fat and allows you to build muscle , it works great. Try it bro. God bless you. Minister
I have to agree with Alex about maybe having some trouble sleeping after cardio at night, unless you do cardio and have a couple hours to unwind, then I think it would be fine. Blessings. Minister.
