won't be competing in the Olympia this year.
He's about 5 weeks out. I suspect Chris
weighed the pros & cons of a 6th win and has
come to the decision that his health, family
and future are more important.

I think he announces he retires after this one for all the reasons you mentioned and focuses on family and the business.

He proved he could win 5 years in a row!

But I agree retiring 5-6 weeks out isn’t a good look. Unless he’s just mentally checked out between the business and his family. I mean he really has nothing left to prove.

Maybe but why hold a special press briefing (with a countdown) before the Olympia
to announce you intend to retire "after" the Olympia? Chris has IGA
Nephropathy. I'm sure all the drugs he's using (likely more than ever) especially
right now in prep are weighing on him. Like the need for dialysis or kidney transplant
down the road.

Becoming a dad has a way of changing your perspective on what's important as well.
My guess is Chris is looking longterm which shows a maturity beyond his 29 years.
Either way, I wish him the best.

When he announces his retirement it will be in a serious manner to mirror his idols, not a hyped up video like this likely announcing another batch of “Christopher’s SECRET Stuff Pre-Workout”.

You could be right. But he has hinted at this for a while.

Also most of the greats now announce their retirement prior to their last season as kind of a farewell tour. Jordan did it with his 2nd retirement. Kobe, Jeter, etc.

It'll definitely be his last year, but i see him announcing his retirement after the competition

I could also be wrong too though
