Chase Irons...A real Cruise Dose for a large humans

Many have mentioned that. Iain Valliere just said it in the last podcast with Fouad. Chris Cormier said the same on DJ's podcast released yesterday. And the same comment was made countless times during last years when talking about Reagan. As you mentioned he has more in life than bodybuilding and that might be the reason he does not put all his efforts into it.
Have you tried milos training? It’s intense, Regan also trains with a neubie, which I have, it is gruelling to train with. I trained a friend and he came down with rhabdo after a week because he didn’t want to dial back his volume, the level of muscle breakdown/stimulation is so high.

Chris Cormier is the last person who can say someone doesn’t train hard. He lasted 3 days training with Yates

Regan has never adopted Milos style of training. He might have trained with Milos here and there but did not use giant sets consistently.
Anyway, if Iain and others say that, it's enough for me to believe.

I agree 100% that Regan doesn't give as much as he can - max 70% and it's not about training but about the whole lifestyle, he's not focused on making progress all year round like Nick or Hadi or Derek. There's too much rest and half-hearted bodybuilding - just watch his YT materials or follow him on IG to see it clearly

I’m so glad some one finally admits to what these pros really cruise on . No one is cruising on 250mg
YES the cruise doses some these Pros claim to use is very unbelievable....

I guess I can’t really have any input on this because whatever I’d say is just guessing. No way to truly know, really.

The idea of bodybuilders keeping themselves healthy with ancillaries year round is still so new, it’ll be interesting to see.
Yes all we can do is speculate. 500-1000mg is a very wide range. I think 1g is far more harmful long term than 500mg. It’s far more difficult to control the downstream hormone cascade that will be impacted by all that testosterone for all those years. Damage control tactics (supplements, meds, etc) would be crucial to give ourselves better longevity odds.

@luki7788 Hope you’re right about the AI but we just don’t know for sure. Who knows how that will turn out.

from the people in the higher levels ive talked with 5-700mg seems to be the cruise dose, basicly having test as the highest dosed preb used and then some anabolic like primo, deca or masteron at a lower dose.

makes me feel bad for Sas..

must suck to lose to a guy who doesn't really care about the sport

I mean sure, but I think we all deal with the daily reminder in life every time we go in the gym of people that half ass but have good physiques (depending on where you train, I guess). Just reality. Genetics trump everything.

Some people just need to know when to move on. Genetics do trump everything. It’s best we all know when to move on….

I mean I don’t think Sas or any competitor for that matter should move on from competing if they love it, personally. As long as it’s not putting them in a severely compromised state health wise of course.

With all due respect — SAS isn’t exactly the best example of a bodybuilder who lives and breathes the lifestyle 24/7, all year round.

If you’ve been following him for a while, you’ll know his off-season is pretty loose, almost “Sam Sulek-style,” if you know what I mean — lots of cheat meals, and not once in a while, but pretty much daily.

He regularly pushes body fat up pretty high, and you can clearly see the effects He waistline has blown out a lot over the years. He used to have a much cleaner look, better proportions. That’s definitely not a coincidence.

So yeah, he’s not the worst example out there, but also not someone I’d point to as a guy who’s dialed in all year long.
Not throwing shade — just being real about what’s obvious.

You took the words out of my mouth LOL
Sas is basically known for disappearing for long periods of time to do life stuff, then showing up and getting peeled. it willl catch up with him but i also feel like his desire to compete is dwindling too.

Shit I was talking out my ass when I said this last night. Had a few edibles in me which is rare. lol.

Sas is stepping on stage peeled out of his mind right now. IMO he looked better than Regan in California.

All that matters is that he’s showed up peeled when it matters most.

I will probably catch shit for this but oh well.
I don't follow everyone on IG but with the exception of a few most of these guys train like they are asleep. And all the new gyms are black walls ceilings and auto shop detailing lights that have every leverage machine in the world with their super slow reps. Chatting and laughing it up between sets. Some don't even break a sweat.
Thank God for genetics and gear. I am sure all these guys have trained hard and heavy in the younger days but this whole damn industry has become a cult of personality. I know money is tight but many spend so much time promoting their latest supplement sponsor of chemically flavored simple protein and carb powders.
The future is bright with the tren midgets and the genetic retard.

I like what you wrote, but I don't know what to think about it. Humanity is moving forward, in discussions like this I always immediately think of Oxygen Gym. They mainly rely on machines, I haven't seen a hardcore workout done there by any of the competitors (maybe I haven't seen enough videos? possible!), they mainly rely on steroids and other chemicals and food as the main factors that give progress. And the most interesting thing is that it worked for many of their competitors. (Brandon, Big Ramy, Roelly were the first to come to my mind). Maybe Arabs have overtaken Americans in terms of knowledge about bodybuilding ? Just my 2 cents worth of thoughts.

Neither agree or disagreeing with what you’ve said but just worth mentioning as very often happens with these discussion the people used for examples are the 0.0001% of the genetic elite where very often ANYTHING they do works. Also worth noting I’ve heard multiple times with the oxygen gym lot they cherry pick and showcase the elites and if you can’t hack it or don’t respond like these guys do then you’re off the team

My opinion: give or take any training methods work and this applies even more so the more genetically gifted you are

You are certainly right! Especially since they choose the genetic elite in Oxygen. They were simply able to squeeze even more out of them, in my opinion, than others. And I emphasize that what I wrote above are very loose thoughts.

I agree for sure on the advancement of humanity especially with AI. Also the explosion of not only the tech economy and stock market. I am not that old but the town i grew up in had 2 things until the mid 1990s.
A one room YMCA basement gym and a Nautilus Raquet ball club. We were stoked when a Powerhose, Golds, and World Gyms opened up. Since then they have been replaced by Anytime Fitness O2 Fitness and Planet Fitness with a few cross fit gyms.
I used to look at it as a good thing the new Fitness explosion but it's seriously irritating to train in these gyms today. I infrequently train at these gyms as my corporate gym is pretty close to a small commercial gym but during the extended covid crap I had to train at an Anytime fitness and kind of shocked me to see how people train today. It's like an Instagram channel.
Good for me though as all the dumbells and free weights were dusty empty squat racks and leg press and hacks as well.
Not bitter just looking back. LOL
Getting back on topic of doses. Genetic elite and super responders aside I feel the over analyzing cosmetic cycles that are all over the place now aren't the best way to make progress. Been in the game many years and never taken a mg of primo masteron which seem to drive each cycle now. Never taken many anti estrogen or aromatases either. But then again never had gyno or bitch tits.
I also am not willing to sacrifice my hair or crash my estrogen on these.
Don't see much PCT anymore where you took HCG and clomid and actually took time off.
Somehow we got contaminated with this damn blast and cruise stuff.
I do partake in some new age compounds like the glps and slu-pp-332 which show promise for liver and kidney and cardiac health. I have no idea what the big boys take Blast wise or "HRT".

This fits with what we've heard from people like brandon curry, nathan deasha and other people thats been over there and had friends go over there. Its sounds like they are doing the bulgarian method where they throw all the training and drugs they can at them and see who thrives in that environment, and the ones that dont last get chucked out. Survivor bias is a huge thing in this industry.

Besides we see it in guys like Dex once or now Bonac or Curry who have been in the game all the time for a good 20 years

If I'm not mistaken Bonac had a liver (?) issue related to supps a few years back, I think he backed out of some show. I remember wondering if that was it for him then, but he has come back obviously.
