Cheap bloodwork option

From what I understand, the drawback of Rythm is that you get all those panels, but it’s one panel a month and it rotates. That’s why it’s only $80 and you only have to submit such a small amount of blood each month.

Personalabs used to great, but they have literally doubled in price over the last 6 or so years.

Discountedlabs is the cheapest place I have found, but sometimes they are assholes about uploading your results in a timely manner, have had it take over a week longer than stated and they didnt post the results till I contacted customer service. This has been on two separate occasions now.

At first glance, this looks pretty incredible...especially if they include biomarkers like estradiol sensitive and thats not just on the women's panel. Only thing off the top of my head that I don't see that I'd like to is cystatin-c. Otherwise, most other bases (even the ones that aren't on normal standard testing) seem covered. Now I'm going to go read the rest of this thread..lol.

Hey man, I don't mean to shit on your post, but I wanted to share this as well in case anyone was interested. PrivateMDLabs now offers subscriptions. $199 full men's panel every three months. That's what I started doing. That said, the $179 is also a really good deal. Thanks for sharing!

Edit: Just realized that the Superpower test has way more biomarkers. I may switch.

I'd pretty much be testing them all the time (twice a year) but at least once a year-ish. You can find a few male panels that have 50-70% of what's on my list but they are a few hundred bucks - even on sale. Life extension(lef.org) does a sale each year on blood tests that is usually around apr/may.

Lpa you only really have to test once---as it's genetic. It can fluctuate a bit...but not by much from what I understand.

VitD, Omega3-index and nutrient panel testing I'd order whenever I am trying to target a range and once I understand what my body needs (supplement-wise) to get there, I prob won't test again unless it's to make sure.

I'm very surprised and somewhat disappointed i couldn't do a la carte add-ons to make this completely comprehensive.
It kinda raises a small red flag for me you can't do other tests. Like what kind of company offering you comprehensive testing is unable to access and add other tests? Seems ridiculous to me and potentially a 'catch' to the way their program is set up.

Pregnenelone

Esr
Ldh

Ive heard it doesn't have all the tests that someone on cycle or not should be doing. I know this is a big ask but what is all the ones that are tested and is there any add ones if I wanted to get ones that aren't listed?
